Well Reaver Army, we did it! We heaped so much love on The Korsak Brothers, BASILISK has been nominated for a GoodReads Choice Award in the Science Fiction category. Gotta love seeing Misha staring back at us along with Stephen-frakking-King in those top nominees! But this is just the beginning. Reaver Army! Rob and I have chosen the BASILISK contest winners and wanted to share these entries with you in a re-cap post… you all made it SO. DIFFICULT. TO. CHOOSE. Soooooooooooo many amazing entries, you all really just blew our minds! We are planning to contact the BASILISK party attendees who won “door prizes” personally by email sometime next week. We will also announce it all here, but first, by email. Also, we are planning to reveal the DOUBLETAKE sneak preview to ALL who participated sometime next week. We’d originally intended on announcing it all this week, but… Misha & Cal decided to take their blog invasion to Rob’s house after their AAA meeting. WHEW. Need I say more? Written by Kate: The second book in the Chimera series is just as fast paced and interesting as the first one. This time around we get Misha’s perspective on the situation and he’s really grown in the three years since the end of Chimera; at least he’s certain he has. The big bad of the book (The Institute and its ‘children’) are as creepy as ever and the action sequences are fantastic. My favorite aspect of the book is the interaction between the brothers Stefan and Misha as Misha comes to realizes that maybe he doesn’t have everything figured out after all.
